Just a Little Fun, Without high Heating Bills!

Warm pic

Well summer is gone no more sun where I am, and winter is on the edge creeping into the green state of Oregon! It may still be Fall for now, but it won’t be forever, lot’s of people are looking forward to the snow, but not the heating bill!

After you come in from the outside you’re going to be looking for a warm place to sit and relax, but you don’t want the heating bill to sky rocket, and you don’t want to bundle up in your own house!  “This is crazy I can’t pay this bill!” Is this what you find your self saying every winter? Well you don’t have to anymore! There are ways to keep warm without bundling or the billing!

First off we’ll address the ways to keep the inside of your house warm without using the heater. When you have your blinds or drapes open the house temperature correlates with the amount of light coming in the windows, when it’s dark outside it’s cold inside, when the sun is out it’s going to be warmer inside, but in the winter it may be a little different, so when it’s sunny (or at least light out), open the blinds or drapes to let the light get in through the windows. Just try it, but don’t forget to close the blinds or drapes when it gets dark outside.

If that doesn’t work out, try to get some insulated drapes, the kind that is going to work out for both your house and your wallet. If you just don’t know what to get ask friends, or search online, or even ask someone who works in that area of the store. This is sure to get you a fair price without giving up your warmth (when asking a friend, don’t go for someone who makes a lot more and who can afford to spend extra on the drapes)!

If the drapes don’t work out because you have too many windows, or you already spent hundreds for drapes when you bought the place, try drinking hot tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or other hot beverages to warm up your body, and if you are looking for something to watch on T.V. go for something with an outcome to be happy, not something gruesome or bone chilling, because that’s exactly what it’s going to do.

If none of these even come close to working, pocket warmers and space heaters! Try not to get an old space heater, they just don’t work as well!

Ways to Stay Safe Online for 3 things!

Well are you worried about your, or your child’s, safety online? Anything from scammers, to viruses beings sent, to pedophiles? Well there are things you can do besides being locked up in tower!

First for the scammers, don’t click on ads, at all. Don’t listen to deals that sound to good with out knowing for sure what you’re doing. If they ask for your credit card number, don’t give it, personal information, anything that seems uncomfortable to give, just don’t give it! No matter how good the deal is, you’re going to get it bad, and they’re going to get a good pay day!

Next the viruses! Almost the same thing, don’t click on ads. Don’t answer emails from people you don’t know, and on unknown websites don’t click the image! It could have a virus attached to the picture! Don’t download any thing from websites that aren’t reputable! How can I tell if they’re reputable or not? If a lot of people have no clue what that site is (check with real people and don’t rely on the comment section), if words are spelled wrong or they use (gonna, wanna, cuz, lol, brb, jk, ttyl, c u, u, ur, bae, etc., same with scams), and if things they say are totally strange, or they rely upon wiki for they’re main information site resource, don’t click on anything and get on to a real site! To stop the viruses from getting to your computer, tablet, or phone, download AVG, the free version won’t let you download anything with a virus on it and it will warn you if you’re on a site with potentially harmful software that will embed it’s self into your devices hardware, and it’s costly to get the viruses removes. Most common viruses are Malware, and Trojans, Trojans are terrible and will ruin your device, and it costs anywhere from $60-$100 to have it removed (including Malware).

Next to protect your body or kid’s body! Nothing is more important than to keep your physical beaning safe! To stay protected don’t talk to anyone you don’t know in real life, don’t give them personal information, don’t send pictures of yourself or others, and don’t, no matter what any one says, don’t go and meet them, not even with a friend! These are the things they look for to stalk you, find you, and kidnap you! Following these are some ways to be safe, even it they say they’re a little girl or little boy of whatever age, those type of people will lie to get you out and about, talking to them, giving them personal information, if they’re hackers you send them a message they can ping that message and find where you live, where you go to school, where your friends live, and or where you work, even all the way to your daily habits if you talk to them enough! So stay safe and follow these guidelines, stay out of trouble, and don’t give anyone you’re personal information!

Looking for Thanksgiving Activities or Home-made Decorations?

Well, it’s right around the corner, Thanksgiving that is! Lots of work to have a group of Family and friends around the the table, eating all day and enjoying company! Some times things pop up and people are unable to decorate or set out snacks, and you either may need decorations fast, or something so distract your guest while you get the snacks! Well this will help!

Decorations: Fancy decorations are a hassle and costly, but the fall weather is here and that makes it super easy and fun for kids to help you! First all you really need are twenty or so good orange and or yellow maple leaves, that’s to find this time of year! You’ll bring then in side and rinse them well in the sink, after they’re rinsed set them on paper towels to dry. Try not to put them in layers. DON’T try to blow dry them or heat them up in any way they’ll get super dry and start cracking! If that happens it will be a mess for weeks! So if you’re in a rush pat them a little, it shouldn’t take more that 20-30 minutes, if they’re still a little wet don’t worry they need to last a bit. Take then out side in a plastic bag and spray air freshener on the top of the leaf pile, shake, be GENITAL. This will get rid or the out side smell and replace it with a great smell of you’re choice, so it would be best if it was a fall smell, but if you don’t have anything like that its fine. Don’t go over bored with the spray, you’ll be cooking and the smells will mix in a very bad way, making it uneasy for the guests. Next, take a hot glue gun and glue two to three leaves together, no more. Don’t do this to all the leaves! Place one bundle under a vase with freshly picked flowers, then you should figure out where the rest of the bundles go. The single leaves should be places under the EMPTY cups on the dining table or coffee tables. Now if you have children they will probably wan to decorate the leaves more, if that happens small flower heads hot glued on top of the leaves, but make sure you can put the cups or vases on top with out smashing the flowers, that would make the whole reason of having them on there useless. If you have balloons get a maker and draw maple leaves on them, if you’re kids still want to decorate! Get creative!

Activities: Take the electronics away for a bit and enjoy family time with a couple games! Around this time of year it’s family time, so enjoy family time without the electronics, a day off for the holidays, no work, no teenage drama, no fits from the kids, and no distractions from the outside world! Look most family holidays are completely ruined by work, drama, fits, and social media, and this is a great time to be happy with family until you have to baste the turkey again. If a normal sized household family were to put the phones and other devices away, just for the holidays around the year, 89% of them would enjoy the rest of the year at least 49% more and look forward to the holidays with family. Kids who are together around their family during the holidays are more likely to have holiday traditions passed on to their kids, and they will learn to love themselves and have better personality qualities, made by themselves, on their own. So a big parental problem may be lifted up by having fun on the holidays with friends and family, it’s not only the family that counts! Try to invite friends too, make sure your family can tolerate the friends, because if they can’t, it will create term oil. Don’t pick friends over family, if this happens, family will not understand why you picked the friend over your family, but your friends will understand why you picked the family over them, if they don’t they’re not real friends, family is everything in the end. Family is blood, friends are thoughts.

Now to the games, pick family friendly games if you have kids, it’s good to start them out on the right track, and not to leave them out! When they’re asleep is when you can pick a game of your choice! Pick something like a board game or Charades! Make sure you have a lot of back up games and you’re always a good sport! This will make sure of a night of fun!wordpress

Coming Together!

Well, some say to come together as a community or a nation…but what about coming together as a planet. I know a lot of people have said world peace, this is different.

One thing after another happens in this world, like wars, new diseases, hunger, thirst, and and natural disasters, what can I do? It’s only me, what difference can I make? These are the questions we ask, but it’s not just you! In fact, is someone were to say something to stand up and do it, others would join in. No matter how small the group, if it’s true in their hearts, it will grow, they will spread the word of their goal, and others will ask them-selves: Is that what I want to do? Ins’t that kind of like what i thought would help? How can I help?

There doesn’t have to be absolute peace in the world for there to be good, generous, helpful, and kind spirits! No matter what race, color religion, or gender, there is good in all, people were born to choices not evil. Evil is s choice not a kind of person born here, babies are innocent from their first breath until they choose to do wrong, they are not bad, they just made a bad choice. So join together, and do something good to show the greatness in planet Earth.

Take the fallen apart things and fix them with whatever means possible, but don’t do it alone.
